The 2026 school year has officially begun! This year, we welcome 44 new students and 3 transfer students as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.

On March 28th, we held our pre-enrollment orientation, where students received guidance on school rules and academic grading policies. Their faces showed a mix of excitement and nerves for the life ahead. It was a long day, so thank you to everyone for your hard work.

The entrance ceremony took place on April 2nd at the Abeno Ward Citizens’ Center (Small Hall). Two student representatives—one speaking in Japanese and one in English—delivered wonderful speeches. Despite the tension in the room, both spoke with great confidence and poise. Congratulations to all our new students!

On April 3rd, we held the opening ceremony for the new term. The freshmen listened intently to the explanations regarding the student handbook, attendance, grades, and regulations without a single distraction. Their attitude was truly impressive. I hope they maintain this level of focus over the next three years, learning to balance their time effectively to ensure a rewarding and meaningful school life.

2026年度がスタートしました。今年度は44名の新入生と3名の転編入生を迎え、新たな生活が始まります。

3月28日に入学前オリエンテーションが実施され、学校のルールや成績評価の仕方等のガイダンスが行われました。生徒たちは新生活への期待と不安が入り混じった表情をしていました。長い一日お疲れ様でした。

4月2日には阿倍野区民センター小ホールで入学式が実施されました。新入生代表で2名の生徒（日本語１名、英語１名）にスピーチをしてもらいましたが、どちらの生徒も緊張感がある雰囲気の中で堂々とスピーチをしてくれました。ご入学おめでとうございます。

4月3日には始業式、新一年生は生徒ハンドブック、出席・成績・規則についての説明を話しせずに真剣に聞いていました。聞く態度は素晴らしくかったので３年間この聞く姿勢を忘れずにオンオフをきっちりと使い分けて有意義な学校生活を送ってほしいと願っています。
